Construction Manager

The ideal candidate wants to build quality luxury homes of the highest standard. Both the sales and construction teams report directly to the Project Manager, all working toward a common goal to build quality luxury homes.

Responsibilities of a Construction Manager include ordering all materials required to construct houses, using BuilderTrend software to manage the construction of the home and coordinating with the trades to set up and monitor the construction schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

  • Collaborate with our sales team to create a smooth process for our homebuyers

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment 

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Superintendent with:

  • Strong organizational and people skills

  • A minimum of 3 year’s experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction

  • A thorough knowledge of all trades

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, emphasis on Excel

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Knowledge of new home construction process is a plus

  • Knowledge of BuilderTrend software is a plus

 

Education & Work Experience

  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred

  • Previous experience working with vendors, subcontractors and contracts within the homebuilding industry

  • Minimum of two (3) years of hands-on experience within the  construction management field

Purchasing Manager/Associate

Elevation Building Company is currently looking for a Purchasing Manager/Associate for our North Metro Atlanta operations.  The ideal candidate be detail-oriented by nature, maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, and must be a team player.    We are looking  for a candidate that is proficient with purchase orders in the construction field that can help us reduce our invoice related accounting.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive and enter purchase orders/invoices into BuilderTrend software.   

  • Solicit bids from trade partners, ensure invoices agree to purchase orders and bids

  • Prepare take-offs for materials needed (lumber, trim, roofing, siding, etc.)

  • Maintain and update current project budgets, ensure cost code compliance

  • Prepare cost analysis and variances for review

  • Manages the trade partners and their contract files (ensuring current pricing, scope of work, contract, etc. is signed by all Trades)

  • Collaborates with the Construction Team to maintain scopes of work and prepare/modify option lists

QUALIFICATIONS:
